Tom Carvalho is currently Burns & Wilcox-Manager, Personal Insurance of San Diego while also working with the production team in the San Francisco office, managing roughly 10 individuals. With 10 years of industry experience in Personal Lines, Tom is best known for his knowledge of the E&S Market as well as Homeowners and product specific knowledge, making him a great resource for his clients. Tom’s efforts have earned him 2020 Personal Underwriter of the Year Award in addition to a spot in the Burns & Wilcox Million Dollar, and the Chairman Circle.
Tom graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management. Soon after graduation, he began his career in the insurance industry as an Associate Underwriter with Burns & Wilcox in 2011 and has continued growth with the company since.
