Kate Wright is currently Burns & Wilcox-Associate Vice President & Regional Practice Group Leader, Personal Lines. With 13 years of industry experience, Kate has made herself known as a go-to underwriting resource in her region, implementing best practices to develop consistency throughout. Kate’s strong risk management skills and solution-focused approach allows her to find opportunities for growth and opportunities to improve quality. She has spent her entire career in Personal lines but has developed a specialty in high net-worth clients. Kate’s efforts have earned her Insurance Business America’s 2018 Young Guns Award.
Kate graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor Degree in Health Care Administration/Management. She has continued her education since then within the Insurance Industry by earning herself CIC, AINS, and AIS designations. Kate is currently involved in Indiana Big I, Young Professional Insurance Agents (YPIA), and Private Risk Management Association (PRMA).
