Chris Valenzuela is a Professional Lines Broker at Burns & Wilcox. She specializes in executive and professional liability lines. Her team is dedicated to providing excellent service and finding creative solutions for their clients. Chris recently joined Burns & Wilcox from RT Specialty and primarily focuses on complex risks within the areas of Management Liability, Technology Errors & Omissions, Cyber Liability, Lawyers’ Professional Liability, Healthcare/Allied Health, Social Services, Miscellaneous Professional Liability, and Architect & Engineers/Contractors Professional Liability.

Chris has spent her entire insurance career in the wholesale professional and executive liability space. She started her insurance career in 2011 at Swett & Crawford (now CRC), administering a Lawyers’ Professional Liability Program. Prior to insurance, from 2007-2011, Chris worked in legal and financial translation as a project manager—working in both London and New York City.

Chris is the former co-chair of the SoCal Chapter of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS); and, currently serves as a member of their national DEIA committee.
